Boost AI AS, one of the fastest growing start-ups in the Nordics, closes funding for international expansion with leading VC firm, Alliance Venture.

Stavanger – 10 February 2018:

Boost AI AS, provider of the world’s most robust virtual assistant platform, announced today the closing of a new round of financing from Alliance Venture. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed, but the company remains firmly in the hands of the founders and employees who retain ownership of more than two thirds of the company. has developed the world’s most robust natural language processing (NLP) algorithms. These algorithms enable virtual assistants built on the James® platform to respond to customer enquiries quickly, efficiently and with unrivaled accuracy.

The financing will be used to strengthen the technical and commercial teams within, and to support expansion beyond the Nordics. was incorporated in May 2016, and secured its first customer in December of the same year. Since then, has secured deals with 40 more organizations, including leading Nordic companies such as Telenor, Nordea, Sparebank1, the Norwegian Government Agency for Financial Management, Santander and Storebrand. The team has grown from 6 to nearly 50 members of staff in the same period.
