Boost.ai Community Privacy Notice

Please note that this is not boost.ai’s software platform. You are now about to get access to our online community platform which is provided by our third-party supplier, MeltingSpot SAS “Meltingspot”. We are utilizing Meltingspot’s platform to create a centralized hub for users to engage, share knowledge, and collaborate. It facilitates support, troubleshooting, and the exchange of best practices, creating a sense of community.

By proceeding to boost.ai’s Community, certain information about you including personal data as a user will be transferred or transmitted to Meltingspot and its subprocessors.

This notice aims to give you information on how boost.ai collects and processes your personal data. It is important that you read this notice together with any other privacy notices/policies we may provide when we are collecting or processing personal data about you so that you are fully aware of how and why we are using your data. With regard to Meltingspot’s processing of your data and the measures implemented by them please refer to Meltingspot’s privacy policy available on their website. Your continued use of the boost.ai Community shall be interpreted as your acceptance of both this and Meltingspot’s privacy notice/policies.

Personal data categories

Account and profile information: Data retrieved from the time the account is created, and when you modify your profile or set preferences. This information may include but is not limited to: first name, last name, username, email, password, photograph, voice biometrics, account creation date and last access date.

Collection of personal data

We collect your personal data in order to provide you with the Community.

We collect your information when you create an account or participate in our community discussions. Any content you post, upload, or share on our platform, including comments, posts, and messages, may be collected and stored. We may collect information about your interactions with our Community, including your IP address, device information, and browsing history. We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to enhance your user experience and analyze how our platform is used.

How we use your information

Provide and Improve Services: We use your information to operate, maintain, and improve our Community platform, including customizing your user experience and analyzing user trends.

Communicate with You: We may use your contact information to send you updates, notifications, and important announcements related to our platform.

Personalize Content: Your information helps us tailor the content and recommendations you see on our platform to better suit your interests.

Compliance and Legal Purposes: We may process your data to comply with legal obligations or respond to lawful requests from authorities. We may also process your personal data for purposes that are permitted under applicable law without further notice to you.

Data sharing

Sharing within boost.ai affiliates: We will share your personal data with other entities in our group as part of our regular reporting activities on company performance, in the context of a business reorganization or group restructuring exercise and for system maintenance and support and hosting of data. All of boost.ai entities are controllers of your personal data.

Third parties acting as processors: Your personal data may be transferred to third-party service providers (including contractors and designated agents and partners), including their sub-processors. All our third-party service providers are required to take appropriate security measures to protect your personal information and are under confidentiality obligations. In the event that boost.ai decides to replace the current platform provider of the Community your data may be transferred to such a new third-party provider. All data that is processed in the boost.ai Community will be stored in boost.ai's environment at Meltingspot’s cloud server.

Mandatory disclosures: We may share your personal data with government authorities or third parties in response to legal processes, to establish or exercise our legal rights or to protect our property, to defend against legal claims or otherwise required by law. We may also share your personal data when it is appropriate to audit, investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal or suspected illegal activities, to protect and defend the rights, property, or safety of Boost.ai, our users, customers, and in connection with our Terms of Use and other agreements.

Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes we collected it for, including for the purpose of satisfying any of our legal, accounting, or reporting requirements.

To determine the appropriate retention period for personal data, we consider the amount, nature, and sensitivity of the personal data, the potential risk of harm from unauthorized use or disclosure of your personal data, the purposes for which we process your personal data, and whether we can achieve those purposes through other means, and the applicable legal requirements.

In some instances, we may anonymize your personal data so that it can no longer be associated with you, in which case we may use such information without further notice to you.

Your Rights

Under specific circumstances, by law you have the right to;

Request access to your personal data: this enables you to receive information on how we process your personal data and a copy of the personal data we hold about you.

Request correction: this enables you to have incomplete or inaccurate data that we hold about you correct though we may need to verify the accuracy of the new data you provide to us.

Request erasure: this enables you to ask us to delete or remove your personal data where there is no good reason for us to continue to process it. Note, however, that we may not always be able to comply with your request for erasure for specific legal reasons.

Boost.ai does not control any third-party connections. We encourage you to read the privacy notice for every website you visit.

Because the internet is not 100% secure, we cannot guarantee the security of your personal data. It is your responsibility to protect the security of your login information.

Amendments

Boost.ai reserves the right to amend this notice at any time, for any reason, without notice to you, other than the posting of the amended privacy notice on the boost.ai Community platform.
